Veterinary Integrative Center can provide examinations, screening tests, and treatments that may be necessary for issuance of health certificates needed for travel both within the continental US and abroad. Prior to making an appointment for the Health Certificate, we recommended that you check with the airline about their specific pet traveling policies, and if traveling abroad, check with the destination country to determine what additional documents and other requirements are necessary for your pet to enter the country. This should be done well in advance of the date of travel to ensure that all of the necessary documents have been obtained before a health certificate can be issued. Requirements such as a Rabies titer can take up to two months to obtain. Doing the homework will help avoid any delays in the travel plans, and eliminate possible costly and stressful quarantine of your pet.

Information about the specific travel requirements of each country can be obtained through APHIS (Animal and Plant Inspection Service) on the webside
