COVID-19 Protocol
In response to our current National emergency concerning the Covid 19 virus, Dr. Huang and the staff will like to inform you  that our hospital will remain operating during normal business hours Monday  through Thursday to provide the necessary services for your pets. We will be closed temporarily on Fridays starting on April 3, 2020. Following  recommendations by the American Veterinary Medical association, we will be implementing some temporary changes to our practice in order to reduce the risk of potential transmission of the covid 19 virus to our clients and staff. As you and your pet's safety and well being are our highest priorities, the following  changes will help ensure safety for all:

1. As recommnended by the CVMA, we ask that routine and non essential appointments be delayed so we may accommodate the ill and/or injured and critical care patients. We will attempt to fill appointments accordingly to limit the number of clients in the lobby at any one time. This will help enforce the recommended social distancing. We also offer drop off appointments for our current active patients.

2. Should you believe that you are ill, have been exposed to someone with the covid 19 virus or you yourself have been exposed to the virus, we ask that you refrain from coming into our office. Ask a friend, family member  or neighbor  who is in good health to bring your pet in on your behalf. If this is not an option, we can arrange to have a staff member meet you at the car, and we will transport your pet into the hospital within safety guidelines. We will provide the necessary services for your pet while you remain in the car, and communication will take place via phone or at your vehicle.

3. It is imperative to limit the number of people entering the office with your pet to avoid over crowding of the lobby and examination room. If multiple family members have come for the appointment, we will ask that only one person bring the pet into the hospital while the rest of the family remain outside or in your vehicle.

4. Unfortunately, we will not be able to to fill large quantities of medications due to shipping and availability/ allocation issues. As always, please allow sufficient time for  refills to be processed. If you are picking up medications only and wish to remain in your vehicle, please call us and we will bring the medication to your car. Payments can be made over the phone with a credit card.

Thank you all for your support and understanding during this time as we try to accommodate as many clients and patients as possible. We anticipate that there may be an increase in phone calls, so please be patient with us, and if you are are unable to reach us immediately, please try again or leave a message on our voicemail and we will do our best to respond in a timely manner. Our goal is to continue to provide excellent, personalized care and service for your pet while focusing on the health and safety of everyone.
